About us
Generosity deserves accountability
Equal Share Foundation was founded on a simple frustration: people give generously, and rarely find out what happened next.

Our mission
Equal Share Foundation exists to connect generosity with genuine need through transparent, fair, and accountable support.
Our vision
A world where support reaches people based on need alone — quickly, fairly and with a public record of every decision.
Our story
ESF began in 2019 as a small group of volunteers coordinating emergency food deliveries. When donors began asking for proof of delivery, we started publishing receipts. That habit became our operating model: verify first, publish always. Today we work with vetted local partners across five regions and report on every project we fund.
Core values
Four commitments we can be held to
Fairness
Support is allocated on verified need, never on connections or visibility.
Transparency
We publish where money comes from, where it goes and what it achieved.
Dignity
The people we serve are partners in the work, not subjects of a campaign.
Accountability
Independent audits, open books and a published complaints process.
How ESF works
A four-step process, applied to every case
- 01
A need or cause is submitted
Communities, partners and field teams submit cases through a structured intake form with supporting documentation.
- 02
ESF reviews and verifies
Our review committee validates identity, need, cost estimates and local capacity, with an on-the-ground visit.
- 03
Donors contribute securely
The verified cause is published with a clear budget. Donors give once or monthly through secure payment providers.
- 04
Funds are distributed, impact is published
Funds are released against milestones, receipts are archived and impact updates go out to every donor.
Commitment to transparency
We believe donors deserve to know where their money goes
Our full allocation breakdown, audited financials and project ledger are public.
