The full story
Families in the northern districts spend up to five hours a day collecting water from seasonal ponds shared with livestock. Waterborne illness is the leading cause of missed school days for children under twelve.
Equal Share Foundation, together with two verified local partners, will drill twelve hand-pump wells, install household-level filtration and train a maintenance committee in each village so the infrastructure keeps working long after we leave.
Every well is geo-tagged, photographed on completion and published in our transparency ledger with the exact cost of drilling, casing, pump and training.
